I have seen them before, I went to have another look.
When I got invited to a demo recently, I went thinking I would be able to try all the yummy food made with the TM. Boy was I wrong. :-/
You see even though I put through a list of my no-go foods to my friend, I think she forgot me when booking the TM lady.
- They made a beautiful sorbet, it smelt yummy, it looked delicious but I couldn't eat it. (raw egg white, I'm still breast feeding a little one)
- She made some pizza, it smelt yummy, it looked delicious but I couldn't eat it. (grain, gluten)
- She made some dip, it smelt yummy, it looked delicious but I couldn't eat it. (cream cheese)
- She made some coleslaw, it smelt yummy, it looked delicious but I couldn't eat it. (cream cheese)
- She made some soup, it smelt yummy, it looked delicious but I couldn't eat it. (potatoes)
- She made some steamed veg and chicken, YAY! I got to try something!!!
- She made some sauce to go over the chicken and veg, it smelt yummy, it looked delicious but I couldn't eat it. (potatoes and milk)
Almost everything had stuff in it that I couldn't eat. Thankfully my friend remembered before they put the sauce on the chicken and veg, otherwise I couldn't eat anything.... I got home an I was starving!
Even though I couldn't eat majority of the food I still had fun chatting to the mum's from school and watching the TM in action.
Oh the things I could do with a thermomix! :-)
I'M LUSTING FOR A THERMOMIX.......
I just need to convince my other half.
I will always have food in my bag from now on. Have you been to something similar? How do you deal with it?
